Today's story(ies) :)

Renee woke up a few times in the middle of last night, asking for her back to be 'scratched' - her rashes breakout from her body heatiness(purged by the ch medicinal herbs) are itching and to spit out her phelgm(also the mucus from her crying lah)....resulting in me feeling very tired in the morning and weak 'cos I've also taken the ch medication since I've caught the bug from her. Luckily, daddy's at home and I get to take a short nap when he sent her to school. I felt sooo much better after that one hour nap! The medicine tasted really bad and good thing it works, otherwise, all my 'efforts' in gurping down the dark blackish brown liquid wasted! YUCKS!, just at the thought of it.

When I picked Renee up at the school, I asked her if her teachers had made any comments about her new haircut and she said "Yes".
So I asked : "So what did the teachers said?"
Renee : "not nice..."
Mommy : "oh who said that?"
Renee : "Mrs Jacob"
Mommy: "then what about Lao Shi?"
Renee : "Lao Shi said nice"
Mommy : "oh really?"
Renee : "Yes. Mrs Jacob said not nice but I said nice..."
Mommy : "hmmm, perhaps Mrs Jacob prefers to see you in the girly tied-up hair"
Renee : "Yes..."
hahaha

Again, she told me she didn't finish her food :(

As I felt better today, I decided to go buy some sweet corn and cook her favourite ribs and sweetcorn soup since she's only eating 1 proper meal on schooldays now. She was sooo happy when I told her about it and even agreed to not being carried after I've bought the stuffs(she's requested me to carry her on our way out frm the school and I obliged as she seemed tired - ya, if I hadn't nap earlier, I would be too man, given her tanthrums in the wee hours!).

On the escalator at Compass Point, she saw an uncle holding on to a girl with shoulder length hair and she asked me : "why jie jie can have long hair". I replied that she can also have it when she can take her own showers like the jie jie and she just nodded. Then I went on to tell her that she can still have long hair later, maybe during her school holidays and the weather's also cooler in December - Christmas time and she smilingly said ok :)
(But I forgot about the other school holidays... hopefully she won't bring it up then hahaha).

She must be really tired, cos she fell asleep whilst drinking her milk on the sofa! Wanting her to be better soon, I have to harden my heart, wake her up for her medicine. She refused(she's been obediently taking her ch medications) 'cos she wanted to go back to her dreamland... But I persisted and she finally took it and even rinsed her mouth and pee-ed before she went back to nap(which she said she doesn't want anymore hahaha).

She must have really missed the soup 'cos though she almost finished up the kuey tiao I've cooked for her, she even finished up the soup! and straight from the bowl! hahaha - 'cos there was once, she saw her daddy doing it and I told her that if she doesn't make the loud slurping sound, she can also do the same if she wanna drink the soup fast(she looked sooo kangkor trying to drink her soup alot and fast with her spoon mah) :D
She even tried to finish the 2 pcs of corn I've kept aside for her :) Seeing her eat like that makes me feel sooooo contented :)

Then, come 'tv time', again, she requested for the 'family sitting' hahaha. She'll go "come on, family together" hahaha and she'll squeeze herself in between us :)
I was telling her daddy on the way home today, Renee told me that her friend doesn't want to sit down in class and I asked her on purpose :"What's yr friend's name?"
Renee : "Kirsten"
Papa : "Why didn't you tell her to sit down then?"
Renee : "Yes, I did but she said no no no no no"
Papa : "And what did u tell her?"
Renee : "I said yes yes yes"

A while later, I took her bolster and smelt at it but found that particular spot stinko so I quickly passed it to her daddy and he exclaimed to her "Oh so smelly". She smelt it and said "mmm, pang pang(nice scent)" and deliberately said "thank you thank you mommy" when her daddy was trying to counter her comment hahaha.

She was playing with the coins her daddy has given her for play and she asked : "Who wants money, put up your hand". Daddy responded and after giving him a coin, she repeated the question but when he put up his hand again, she pointed to me : "you you you" and passed the coin to me hahaha.

I hope she'll sleep better tonight...
