4th day at school - Part II

I went to pick Renee up feeling goggy hahaha... So I sat on the sofa whilst waiting for her(I started waiting for her there since her 2nd day so she won't be too used to seeing me nearby the class or get distracted by my appearance). Her main teacher, Mrs Jacob was holding to her and another girl's hands, leading them to the 'parents pick up area. Mrs Jacob saw me but Renee, standing on her left(the sofa i'm sitting on was on the right side, so renee's view was blocked) and she teased her "oh Renee's mommy is not here". Renee looked a little bit 'worried' but when Mrs Jacob asked her : "where's your mommy, Renee",
Renee replied very calmly : "mommy's at home"
Mrs Jacob : "oh, how are you going home then, alone?"
Renee : "my papa"
Mrs Jacob : "Renee, u wanna look around first for your mommy?"
Renee(looking, turned around and saw me) :"Mommy mommy!"

hahahahaha

As usual, Renee will start telling me about her day at school whilst on our way to the train station, but most of the time, cos she's so much shorter(for now I hope hahaha), I can't hear her very well hahaha and I'll have to bend downwards...

She was eating milk bread in the train(yes, again heeee) and told me that she didn't want to go home yet and wanna go 'gai gai'. Wah piang, jialat lah, everyday gai gai. I told her ok but only for a short while, we'll go look for the ready plastic book cover for her 'teacher-parent communication book' and she said ok and requested to go to the library again. Went to popular and was told that it's no longer available so we managed to reach home ard 3:35pm. After her milk, it was around 3:50pm when we heard her daddy opening the door. Alamak, me so fedup, told him that he should have picked us up! He defensed that our timing was too early - hello, we were only back 10-15 mins before him, dunno what's mobile phones are for? Then he kept quiet - he always thought that I drive, like him...

I tried to get Renee to nap as we were going out to dine but with her papa around, all she's interested in was play... so wanting to take a nap himself, they both laid on our bed and it ended up the same as usual, him snoring away and Renee playing by herself but when he heard me asking her to nap, he sorta chided her. She cried, so I carried her out to the sofa and that's where she fell asleep(in less than 5 minutes), like when she used to, as an infant - sitting on my lap like a koala, with her head lying on my chest... :P

Later in the evening, we were wondering where to go for our dinner when we both thought of the stretch of road along Serangoon(I've also heard frm my good friend, Vicky that there're quite a few good restaurants there) and after cruising there for a short while, we finally had our dinner at 'Crab Party' - good!, dun mind going there again if possible :)

Earlier this morning before daddy sent Renee to school, he told me that after this coming trip, I might have to follow him on the next one, probably next week, a few days after he comes back 'cos the customer's bringing his wife along... Arrghh, dread man! I told him to try and make it during the March school holiday as Renee has just started her pre-school and I hope not to disrupt her routine too much at this early stage, so see how *sigh*
