Nice Friends

Apart from the stickers she's got from the dental centre(even the man at e radiology dept. gave her quite a few lolz), she's been receiving more from her friends since she's returned to school on Monday.

Her friends had even 'allowed' her to sayang their little sister/cousin attending the same preschool when they had previously 'protected' from others' touch last time('cos she really loooves those little girls and likes to sayang them and her friends knew). This just went to show that she's got nice friends from this class and it's nice to know they're so kind towards her after learning about her injury, :).

Artwork Display

Since I've taken the box of Aquabeads out for her on Sunday, she's been making & making & making them. These are just the 1st 'batch', lolz :

Urticaria

I've had Urticaria attacks a couple of times before but they were many many years ago.

Recalling, the 1st symptoms seemed to have already occurred yesterday morning after I've sent Renee to school but there were only 2 mozzie sting-like lumps, so I've dismissed them to be simply mozzie bites.

However, as the day wore on, I got more itchy patches and again, I've thought them to be due to 'heat', especially when they seemed to be better after I've applied some prickly heat powder.

Then, the rashes started to itch more after dinner and worsened by double-fold after my shower - spreaded to the T-zone of my face! Quickly, I changed and rushed to the clinic myself but whilst waiting for my turn, the rashes on my face subsided.

The doctor confirmed the rashes to be an outbreak of 'Fong Mok' - Urticaria and told me to avoid applying powder... huh? Anyway, there are already many different forms/causes of this outbreak and in the TCM concept, it's yet another different thought - we get such outbreaks when we're weak and 'cool'/too 'liang' within and we have to avoid exposing ourself to 'wind', avoid touching water(both have been proven many times by own experiences), etc...

The medication I've been prescribed really helped me to sleep 'cos it's extremely goggy and luckily, I've got hubby to standby to send Renee to school this morning(although I still got up and got her ready in the midst of my gogginess). There are still chores that I can't do but yet I just can't not do them, haiz...(touching the water will cause more outbreak of the rashes) - this is yet another time when one'd feel the need of a maid, to provide the help one needed...

Resort World and More Shopping

Yesterday, hubby came home with Renee(after her art class) and told me that his client had phoned to inform of his arrival. He mentioned that they'd most likely be going to the casino at RW and I casually remarked that "we also wanna go!". To my surprise, we(Renee and I) are really going too, Hurray!

Actually, I already had soup boiling but that of 'cos, can be 'sacrificed'(but we had it for supper), hahaha.

We met up at Dian Xiao Er rest. @ Vivo City for our dinner before proceeding to Sentosa. Prior to reaching there, I told hubby that should the client's wife not mention about not wanting to go into the casino, then it's best to just let her join them 'cos it's better and easier for me to handle cranky Renee alone should we go back late. Luckily(or perhaps she also knew better, lolz), she didn't, so I explored the place with Renee, :D.

We watched some performances, walked around and took many photos - mostly requested by Renee, lolz. Here're some(not many I can put up w/out showing her face, heee):

Observing...

Renee's favourite(she had wanted me to take the backview as well!)..., hahaha

And this is the place we would love to get into, SOON :D

Stopping by the Festive hotel lounge where Renee get really comfy... :)

Hopefully we'll get to the Universal Studio some day soon(but then again, I'm not sure if it'll be a waste for e fees are steep @ S$66/adult, child's I hvn't found out, and I'm not one into rides and neither is Renee allowed...). Lucky Hubby would be going to Sentosa again this Thursday though, for a golf tournament, how nice...

As for today, I've expected hubby to meet his family early for their yearly 'Qing Ming' routine(which they later found out before the 'next stop' that they're not supposed to) but it seems like they've changed to doing that in the afternoon since last year. Since he's still home at 12pm, I quickly ironed up Renee's uniforms, then hurriedly got ready and had him sent us downtown to do some shopping in case he's not back early enough to bring us there.

I had anticipated to be out til say around 4pm+ and that was exactly the time hubby's done but he had to go home first to rest and made us 'shop' some more which we hadn't wanted to 'cos we were both already very tired! Anyhow, we managed to rest our feet at Paragon for a while and at 5pm, I decided to walk 'back'(we had earlier gone from Paragon to Takashimaya to Wisma to Ion and back to Paragon) to Tangs but at 5:35pm, Renee couldn't take it anymore, hahaha and I asked her to phone papa.

After our dinner at the Island Cafe , we returned to Isetan Scotts and Takashimaya(for hubby to get his stuffs) before heading home. It was already around 8:30pm when we got back and after contemplating Renee's request of not going to school, we decided to 'decline' so as to avoid making it a habit...

Dental Check-Up

Despite having gone to bed late at around 9:30pm last night, Renee still woke up at +/-8am, came to my bedside and waved a milk powder pack she's removed from her sample packs she's given at school yesterday. She had told me that she liked it very much and would like me to change her milk to this brand, lolz but when I told her that the nutrientional contents in her current milk seemed to be better, she then said that she'd have this at night and the usual one in the morning(we've already cut her off night time milk actually) which I agreed of 'cos and told her that she'd need to drink alot more water if that's the case.

Remembering the dental check-up we've to bring her to, I immediately switched my mobile on but at 10am, there was still no phone calls from the centre. A note on the map attached to the referral letter indicated that we should call the centre, after 1 day, if we do not hear from them or KKH but I didn't wish to wait as Renee is still unwilling to chew*(due to pain), not even her favourite bread.
*she has however, decided to chew abit when I bought some paos after our lunch and I guess, after so many hours w/out her fav bread, she simply couldn't resist, heee.

Whilst on the phone with the National Dental Centre, I noted that the attending doctor at KKH had not indicated an urgent attendance by the dental doctor(I guess that's why they've not acted faster?) on the referral letter but in replying to their query, I informed them of Renee's inability to chew as yet, which to them, was probably also a good cause for concern. Luckily for us, there were 2 cancellations in the afternooon(2 and 2:30pm) and we grabbed the 2pm one.

At the NDC, although we were next on line, we still waited for quite a while before the dentist actually attended to us. It turned out that she's an intern if I'm not wrong, 'cos after a pretty long consultation with her, we still had to wait for her senior to have a look which warranted another x-ray 'cos apparently the former had not detected the obvious fracture line on 2 of Renee's upper teeth! Then, though I've expected to speak to the senior after the 2nd x-ray, we weren't given a chance to(she wasn't even back to review further) and the very friendly intern(in actual fact, dentists are trained pyschologically to be extra nice due to obvious patients' fears), being reprimanded by the senior right infront of us(for not detecting the fracture lines and the defective equipment in the room), had became not so friendly thereafter and we were quite abruptly 'dismissed'.

By the time we've gone for the 2nd x-ray, hubby had returned to join us(I had still thought that we'd need to go back ourselves when I told him to go tend to his work, so you can imagine how long we were there).

There were a total of 2 'cuts' on her bottom gum resulting in the 3 front bottom teeth to wobble - The nerves seemed to have been affected and I'm to monitor, should she complain of more pain in the near future, chances that the nerves might 'die-off' and that's when the teeth will drop. The only consolation to this piece of information is that, in normal circumstances, the baby teeth will start to drop from 6 years old onwards and since she's 5 now, she need not wait for too long before her adult teeth to surface.
Even if the teeth do not drop, she might still experience more sensitivity now til the 'change', haiz...

This incident, together with our experience at KKH yesterday reminded me on why I've always not liked going to the public hospitals/medical centres(although the doctors and nurses had been singing 'praises' of her) if one can afford it. My biggest regret now is that I hadn't been calm enough to think properly 'cos if I had, I would have asked the GP to refer us to a specialist and probably, we wouldn't have to subject our precious one to being a 'guinea pig'/experimental, training objects.

Whatever it is, there's nothing we can do now but I will most probably bring her to the PD to remove the stitches 'cos I'd prefer better advice/treatment on how to minimise her scar and 2ndly, I will find out if I could ask for a senior consultant on her dental follow-up check(which will be in a month's time) before deciding if we should go for another check with a private practitioner(if you have any good recomendations[scar treatment &/or dental], pls let me know).

Meantime, I would need her to lay off her violin practices/lessons for a while and I hope it won't be too long 'cos we've already skipped her lessons for a month already...

5 Stitches

Today hadn't been a good day. First, we've gone to SengKang's Daiso right after school and I didn't have a pleasant lunch at the foodcourt there - rude hawkers.

Then back home, as I was busy talking to PX whilst sorting and packing things up, we heard a rather loud tug coming from the 'study/activity room', followed by Renee's cries. I quickly got up and PX also stopped her ironing and tried to rush over. Renee, coming out of the room, was bleeding non-stop! There was quite abit of bleeding from her mouth(blood stains on the floor) but we couldn't tell for sure where she was bleeding exactly 'cos there also seemed to be a cut under her chin.

PX asked for some sugar and after rubbing some onto her gums for a couple of times(first she checked if thr's any loose tooth), the bleeding slowly began to stop, *phew* and we managed to see that there's a cut under her chin and another on her lower gum. . We had thought to leave the laceration under her chin as we were afraid that stitching it up will leave an ugly scar but upon my closer inspection, it seemed like the skin had torn rather 'wide' and I'm afraid that the open wound would get infected.

It was raining and at a time close to the taxi drivers' shift changing hour, I was afraid of a long wait but I failed to contact hubby. I phoned the PD's clinic(funny their phone always seemed to be off hook at times and this is actually bad) and they told me to bring her to KKH or a GP where surgery's allowed if I think a stitch's required. I tried to phone hubby again and when I still couldn't get him, I decided to try and see if any of my sisters could help. Knowing that Sis isn't sure of the route to our home, I dialled Eileen's but my BIL wasn't home and thus, I called Sis. Whilst waiting for my sisters(Li guiding Sis over), hubby phoned back(must have read my urgent msgs) and told me to wait for his return in 20mins' time but as my sisters were already on the way, he then suggested meeting us at the clinic. PX later told me that I had turned 'white' when I saw Renee bleeding, well, that's probably a very natural maternal reaction...

The GP assessed her injuries and advised that it's better for her to have the laceration stitched to prevent a bigger and uglier scar and so, with her referral letter, we rushed over to KKH children's emergency department, in case Renee needed to be sedated. Luckily for us, there weren't alot of patients there this afternoon. I was supposed to go back with Renee myself as hubby needed to attend to some work he's dropped to come over, but he later managed to get his bro to tend to them on his behalf and stayed on.

We were given an option between an application of local anaesthesia or, in case she struggles, a sedation by either inhalent device or injection. Without saying, we went for the formal(but were made to sign on the form for allowing the latter in the case where sedation's really required) and to prevent the sedation, I explained to Renee a couple of times on what would happen should she resist.

Never had I known how a shock could do to one's body and now I knew for sure, it's - sheer Exhaustion. To begin with, I was already feeling tired, still recuperating from the extreme lack of rest/sleep the whole of last week and thus, this was like adding fuel to a fire. Whilst waiting for the anaesthesia to work its magic, hubby went to look for a drink and as much as I tried to control myself, I still succumbed to a doze, though sitting very closely to Renee(arm over back of her seat). What had seemed to me a doze of merely a few seconds had actually been one of about 5-10mins and I awoke to the calls of my child's name(so, it's good thing that they've pronounced her name correctly) to the surgery room.

I was told to place Renee on the 'table' and to prevent her from sudden movement or struggling from fear, she was tightly 'secured' by wraps and her chin was raised up by the nurses placing a small bolster like pillow under her neck. First step - cleaning(to prepare for the stitching) and Renee was so frightened but immediately calmed down(shld have seen the 'eyyy?' look on her, :P) when she felt that there was actually 'no pain' and we knew then, that the 'magic' has taken its effect, :). But the cleaning had made the view of the wound alot more visible and seeing the flesh, I made a face to hubby and I guess 1 of the nurses must have seen the look and quickly asked 'is mommy ok or should daddy hold her?" Oooh, though I'm still ok to hold her, I responded quickly to that suggestion, heee.

3 stitches were initially expected but after the 4th, the doc said a 5th's needed, oh man! In fact, Renee had already started to complain "why so long?" at the start of the 4th and after the 5th, she broke down and teared, awww...

Although hubby had requested the doc to 'make it nice' but to be realistic, he's just a doc at KKH children emergency dept. afterall and we really cannot expect too much(maybe my gynae will do a good job but we can't go to him right?). Anyway, all we can hope for now is that the scar won't be a bad one, *crossing fingers*.

For precaution's sake, the doc had also given us a referral letter for a dentist to check on he teeth/gum and as the centre's already closed by the time we're done, we now have to wait for them to get back to us on the appointment date/time tomorrow. Hubby asked if we could do without it if we find that there aren't any damage but I thought, since her 1st proper dental check is long overdue, we could use this as an opportunity to act on it, :). Let's hope all would be fine.
heart-aching right? It was heart wrenching for me... :(

The Wake/Funeral

We had been busy at my Father-in-law's wake/funeral for the whole week and it had been extremely tiring(only a few hours of sleep everyday) for all of us since we stayed the furthest and we weren't able to leave til the last of guest did.

There had been quite a number of occasions where some 'unhappiness' arised amongst all and though none has came outright to spell things out, myself was in a difficult spot a couple of times during the last few days, especially yesterday, which was the Funeral day.

However, on the frst day, Renee had, upon learning about her gugu LeeLee's sadness, gave her this piece of artwork which she did most recently(added the background colouring on that day):

Today, we collected my late Father-in-law's 'remains' and from now on, there are a few rules(like not being able to attend any 'red' occasions for 1 yr('white's' for 100days?, I can't rem), can't distribute 'angpaos' though we're able to accept, some praying rituals, can't return to my mom's for 49 days, etc).

P/S : Our appreciations and thanks to family/friends who came to the wake and those whom had contributed.

A Turn for the Worst?

Our usual family shopping day had unpredictably turned out to be quite a rushing one today.

My FIL's current hospitalisation(rather frequent lately) apparently showed that his condition had taken a really bad turn(predicted actually, though we've not really expected it to be this fast and hubby said he had seemed alright on Fri) and so, after sending us to Paragon, hubby went to visit him at the hospital. At close to 7pm, he came over to meet us and just after we've finished our quick dinner, he got a call from the hospital that his father wasn't responding and he rushed over. I was still contemplating whether if I should just take a cab home with Renee as he's instructed or just loiter around in case we'd need to rush over as well. A quick check with Renee and we stayed on(obviously...) which was a good thing 'cos half an hour later, hubby phoned when I was about to make my payment for the merchandises and told me to go over (yeah, due to the staying on, we had bought more things, haiz)- mainly Renee's new melamine cutlery set from 'Hello Kitty'(I've never expected her to like this 'old' brand of character, probably becos of te designs and I guess she's also long outgrown the age of 'Dora'. Anyway, this is def alot better as compared to 'Barbie'!). Here're some :

Unexpectedly, there was a loooong que outside TSC(I've thought it'd be ok since the festival season's over) and I still couldn't get hold of a cab booking despite being put on hold for a long time. I had to give up holding-on to the phone booking confirmation 'cos my mobile's battery was super low and I needed to save the last bit to contact hubby.

45mins later and we were still in the que and hubby said he'd come pick us. The irritating thing was, when we came out of the que, it then started to move, aiyoh always like that!
When Renee had first learnt the news and that we're going to visit her ye ye, she was sad that he had became so ill. Then whilst we were que-ing, she was even more anxious about the long wait and had even teared... But when we got there, she kinda clamped up and didn't say what she thought, haiz...

Short while later, hubby sent us home and instead of the initial plan of him going back to stay overnight at the hospital with the rest of his siblings 'cos bro Chuan called to inform that they'd be adhereing to FIL's request for a discharge.

Cousin Jia Yee's 1st Birthday

Renee had insisted on bringing her tricycle down to my bro, CH's home and we had no choice but to lug it along together with her art bag and stuffs, lolz. However, we had only relented 'cos we had no intention to bring it back! hahaha.

Our gift to the birthday boy...

Then, it's time for the 'prediction of future/career path'- selection of item(s)

Artwork Display

Finally let her try doodling with this pop-up castle artwork which I've ordered long time ago but she seem to prefer the other...

Labelling

Now that she is spelling some words(I really wish the school would start teaching them how to spell/form words soon. I can't believe that they're still not doing that, haiz...), she showed this to me and said :
"mommy, this is a cup of hot coffee,
I don't want my 'cinderella' to touch, so I put this", hahaha :

A Good Talk

Renee has been 'giving me faces' whenever I chided her for... many matters, not keeping her toy/stuff before taking another set/thing out to play with, not drinking enough water, etc...

Over the few months, I'm tired from the strain and I finally had a talk again with her yesterday :
Mommy : "darling, come here, I want to speak to you"
Renee : (still standing there, not looking at me) "....."
Mommy : "Renee, can you please come over here. Look at me when I'm talking to you?"
Renee : (finally sat herself down on the stool but still kept quiet even though she glanced up at me)
Mommy :"darling why are you so naughty lately? Why don't you listen to me?"
Renee : "....."(still not speaking)
Mommy : "baby, it's ok, just tell me what is it, why are you behaving like that? why are you treating mommy like that when mommy loves you so much?"
Renee : "but why you always scold me"
Mommy : "I don't want to scold you too, but u've been very naughty. Like those times u didn't respond to my beckoning when we're out, not keeping your toys, throwing tanthrums when I wake you up from naps...". "I would like to shiork shiork you too, but if you always throw tanthrums like that, you made it very hard for me to do that 'cos I get very angry. So darling, can you please, be a good girl so I can sayang you more?"
Renee : "Ok"

And she did, well, at least for these 2 days, :) - I hope it'll be like this for a looonnng looonnng time... For the good behaviour, we've also been doing quite abit of 'artwork' and here're some(more to come over the next few days, lolz) :

The wind, after the rain yesterday, seemed to have became stronger and this is what happened when we were doing the artworks :
paper scattered around

And then it's Renee @ work, with her artwork produce, hahaha :

Last Day of Term I

Finally, after sooo many days, it's raining today! Errm, but this is not what this post is about, heee.

The last day of the term is supposed to be tomorrow but this year, instead of the usual PTMs, the school is holding Parents and Teachers gathering(with provision of light refreshments) for term I and III instead, and since I'm not taking part in this event, today shall be it, :).

Some children seemed to be celebrating their birthdays at school today and I've just witnessed a girl crying for not bringing a gift to her friend when my girl appeared, telling me that she's got a goodie bag from her classmate, :).

It's been quite a while since we've last been to Compass Point and as hubby needed us to go to the office tomorrow, I took Renee there to run some errands today. First, we headed to the OCBC bank, where I finally get to have my replacement ATM card which is sooo troublesome, given that the other banks had already posted the new cards(incl. ATM's) to me ages ago. After banking in some of Renee's coins, I casually asked how does a child get the badges and upon checking her bank book, they said, oh it's her 3rd deposit, so she's entitled to a bronze one. Hmmm, if I hadn't asked, will she even get it? Actually, basing on the number of deposits we've made, not even taking into consideration that we've always deposited more than the required S$20(we usually accumulate and deposit in hundreds) each time, she should be getting her Gold one long time ago. I guess we were 'penalised' for changing the type of account! Geez, sooo calculative and how more customer unfriendly can this bank get huh?.

There're more unpleasant stuffs about them but I shall save this post from them. However, not sure if they were trying to appease my displeassure or was it a norm, they gave Renee a pack of mighty savers' pencil + ruler and a pack of mighty savers' storybook that came with some origami artwork(they cld hv came together, not sure. No pic, 'cos ne has already took them out of the pack juz now, lolz).

Then, remembering the cake that we've forgotten to buy to try the last time when we chanced upon this new cafe(or was it a restaurant?) taking over the old Delifrance rest., we bought it today. We also met 1 of Renee's classmates there, choosing a cake for his mommy and he, thinking that the badge is given free over the counter(Renee's wearing it on her T-shirt uniform with its light blinking), he asked where he could get one, :).
This is just a normal plain one, the rest of the 'celebrative' cakes are lovelier

Again, Renee asked her Papa if she could join the school camp...

No Lessons Again?

Not only there had been missed lessons, we've also been very slack in her practice since her exam, heee.

However, we'd still try to keep up with it occasionally and yesterday being 1 of those 'good days', she even tried to play a new piece although there're 'things' that she's not taught yet('cos it's from grade II). The tune sounded alright but I guess she needed the 'technical' teachings to get the piece sounding even better but nevertheless, it's good enough that she's even willing to try playing it. Good job! Heee, :D.

'My' Basket

I've been getting Renee to fold up her clothes and keep since she's 3 but hadn't been keeping it up on a regular basis as it had seemed easier and faster to do it myself, :).

However, I think it's really time to keep her in the habit and thus, I've re-started the routine again last month and then an idea came to me one day - I should get her her very own laundry basket!

So today after school, we popped over to the 'general store' and bought this. Not of her choice colour of cos but it's similar to mine, so she chose it, hahaha:

(the butterflies are added on by moi of cos, hee)

"I Want to go to the Camp!"

"Mommy, I want to go to the school camp" was what Renee told me today when I picked her up from school. I've read the brochure last week and for the 1st time, I've found the programme layout to be rather interesting and I've actually considered signing her up if not for the fact that I'd miss her badly during the 3 days(it's only from 9-4pm by the way, heee).

I've not discussed this camp with her but apparently, she's been talking to her friend, Melinda(she's been mentioning about this friend quite abit lately) in school and told me that she'd like to join the holiday camp with her friend.

Although I could do my stuffs whislt she's with the camp, the idea of her not being around for most of that 3 days during such a short holiday break still doesn't quite entice me, plus there's the meals issue that I'm concerned about. But she asked me again at shower :
Renee : "Mommy, why can't I go to the school camp?"
Mommy : "because I'll miss you"
Renee : "it's ok(she meant it's ok, thr's no need to miss her, hahaha), I want to go"
Mommy : "cannot, papa will also miss you"
Renee : "but I'll still come back". "why I cannot go but my friend can?"
Mommy : "hmmm, maybe yr friend has didi, meimei at home and they can't look after so many children?"
Renee : "oh ya, Melinda has 2 didis"
Mommy: "ah, there u see"
(Heeeee)

(Renee's) Cousin's 21st

Saturday

As we're only required to be at my niece, Pearlyn's 21st birthday celebration from 6:30pm, I told hubby to send/fetch Renee to/from her art class. He was abit unwilling at first but elated later at the thought of being able to go to the golf range whilst waiting for her lesson to end(see, it's hard to please this man. Who wld have tot he'd be 'unhappy' when I've already resumed the sending & fetching from her morning sch!).

Although already used to the early hours, she had 'tong' til 10:30pm last night, but hving woke up at/before 9am and without a afternoon nap, she had been rubbing her eyes like a little toddler at the bbq, lolz.

Despite he being finally entertained by rounds of card games, hubby announced home going at 10pm and after giving Renee a rinse, she knocked out almost instantly on our bed with papa, :D.

Sunday

Weather has been 'stuffy' lately and unable to fall asleep(seemed like our air-conditioner conked out on us lastmin - probably due to long time non-usage), hubby had to cancel his golf game last minute.

How can it get soooo warm(mayb 'cos he's sleeping on the inner side of the room? heee) when the wind is stronger than 'this' at night, most of the time?

Some of Pe's friends had not turned up last night and thus, alot of food were left over and we were invited again today, to Eileen's for a 2nd round of feast, lolz, well, not before I've grabbed my night-dresses from the Rob's members' preview sales(last day).

Actually, I had been waiting in vain for the past 1 year on Rob's sales notifications! I've questioned them on the lack of these notifications but all I've got from them is that they distribute them in batches, but funny how my name had been missed out for a good whole year when I've always been notified on each and every of such sales/events? I reckoned that they actually picked who to notify, based on the usage of card within/outside the store('cos when I was 'enjoying' the updated notifications, 1 of my sis who also holds their card did not. Why? She hadn't been using their card actively as well) which I find is a very silly marketing strategy - each and every member should be notified of the store's events, otherwise, how is one going to patronise/make use of the card, without being notified of its events? Silly, very silly... :D. Anyway, it's not our loss, ain't it? :).

Short Hairdo Again

Although she's been so unwilling to part with her long tress last year(so much so that I've to make a pact with her that I'd allow her to keep long hair til max - end of K2), Renee's been bugging me to cut her hair short since mid January.

Reason? - the weather's getting too hot for her and it's troublesome to have her hair tie up during the morning rush.

Her last cut, done by my h/stylist had look good and this time round, it's me who's unwilling to chop it off, hahaha. However, seeing that she's sooo sensible to choose practicality over vanity, hahaha, I told her that I'll oblige her after her violin grading exam(thinking that she might forget the whole idea by then) and on that fateful day, she immediately reminded me when we got home, lolz.

Actually, I had planned to let her continue spotting long hair til at least the end of this year so that there would be a chance for us to see her with reaaallly long hair. However, that didn't seem possible 'cos she kept repeating her request and made it again today, when she came back from school. Her Papa's agree-ing with her left me with no choice but to fulfil the act. :D.

And so, it is from this :

Anyone wanna buy real hair - for extensinons? lolz

Although she's less babyish-looking now with the haircut, it is a breeze(again, :D) to wash her hair and I need not have to enure that I've to give her a afternoon shower or to blow-dry her hair if it's done in the evening, :D. And now, with the weather forecast that this dry and record setting hot weather(think our weather's just going to get hotter and hotter) is going to continue for the next few months, I'm really tempted to have mine chop off as well - I've done this the same time of the year last year and I've told my h/stylist that I'll try my best to maintain it for this year, shall see how things go...(the most probably I'll just have to do something which I dreaded seeing - tie up the hair! hahaha), :D.
