CNY, Birthday? No...

None of the above, just some of Renee's new clothes kekeke(she's sooo lucky, ain't she). As Renee's presently on 'holidays', it's apparent that she'd need some new clothes especially now that she's outgrowing the current ones. So, I dug into the boxes of new clothes she's been given and took these out:

Daddy like the halter neck dress

Find it nicer w/out e straps, so off they go!(she's got a few in similar styles anyway)

Though for 18-23 mth olds, e straps r abit longer, so I've altered it, with ribbons on top

She's outgrowing the leggings soon and this pair(darker pink) came just on time!

English - proper, slang, singlish? All!

Just when Renee's praised for her good English, there she goes with her singlish hahaha.

Yesterday at the clinic, she was happily playing with the toys and when she failed to get a little girl to join her, she started singing "A B C D E F G..." whilst pretending to play a tune on the toy piano. Both the clinic staff came out of the medicine room to look at her. To be honest, I wasn't exactly 'aware' of her singing(probably becos I'm too used to it) and was wondering why were they all looking/smiling at her when the parents/grandparents, even the maids started to ask me her age hahaha. Then 1 of the staff came and asked me that too and commented that she sang very well. Ermmm, what can I say to that since I don't have another older kid of my own in the same era as her to compare to. So, all I can say was what I thought "Isit? I thought this is normal?" and her reply was :"oh no, it's that she speaks very clearly". Ok ok, I supposed I shld be happy with that compliment then hehehe.

And last night, she asked me to change her from her pyjamas pants to panties and she went to show her daddy : Renee - singlish : "papa, look, I wearing panties not long berjama pants, becos my leg is sooo warm ar"
Daddy : "oh isit?" (just entertaining her 'cos he's watching soccer)
Renee - slang : "yeah..."

She also enjoys 'acting blurr'. The other night, daddy was feeling grouchy and kinda took it out on me, and Renee, seeing that, took my side and frowned at him. Then when back home, she wanted her daddy to do something with her and he teased her : "oh, I thought u didn't support papa?" and she went : "huh, huh?" and later grinned...

Card holder

I've got this 2 mths ago, to hold my ez-link card and told Renee when she wanted it(she had thought it was for her when I asked her to choose the design), that she can have it when she finally reaches the height to get her own card. Now that she has, both of don't seem to need it anymore...

Shall keep it for her(provided it doesn't turn yellow) cos it's chosen by her(though it's quite sweet-looking but if given more character choices, I wldn't even let her choose this hahaha)

Cycling Time Again!

With moi driving, we went to the PD's clinic this morning and took the original letter. I had wanted to drive there as I was quite skeptical about its upslope carpark and non-auto scanning carpark system but daddy told me that I won't have any prob as the 'space' of its winding upslope is wider than our carpark. What surprised us(pleasantly) was the auto card scanner system which must have been installed few days ago... just nice for me hehehe. And today, instead of Mcdonald's, we went for our breakfast at Long John Silver's and surprisingly, the food was good and its portion big(daddy and I even shared one set meal with just an extra order of coffee). And as I needed to check with the PD on something and daddy couldn't wait after staying with us for an hr+, he drove my car back but he came to fetch us back before going off :)

Renee asked for chicken nuggets when I was buying some fish balls at Old Chang Kee and when we got home, insisted on eating one whilst waiting for her porridge to be cooked and the rest after her lunch. In return, I insisted that she finished the half cup of water lolz.

She has had her nap yesterday and thus I've not expected for her to want to skip it this afternoon, not when I've woke up her earlier this morning but she finally fell asleep on her bed and had a 2 hr nap! lolz
When she woke up and smelt the soup, she jumped with joy and said "mommy mommy, the soup smell sooo good" hahaha. I told her that if she feeds herself dinner again, I'll bring her down for another cycling session and she can have the soup when we come up. But perhaps, the porridge was a little too dry today, she stopped half way thru and asked me to feed her instead. The cycling must have made her hungry cos she asked for a 2nd helping of the potatoes after she's finished her soup :)
This is how her tummy wld be like on the day I cook her favourite soup :D

Before her dinner, we did these :

Received a letter from Kinderland today and it was an update on HMFD - thanking us for the co-operation we've rendered and that they do not have any cases in Serangoon branch and they hope to maintain its zero report(below's a copy of e letter):

2 other short notes were attached and 1 was to inform us of Mrs Jacob's resignation(due to family reasons). She will be leaving end of the month and as the new teacher will only join the school in July, the principal will take over the classes personally til then. I wonder how Renee will adapt to the new teacher when she returns to school then. We hope she'll love her as much as she does Mrs Jacob...

Cycling Time!

Finally got a bottle of the 'Hua Lu' water and Renee loves not only its scent but also its cooling effect. I've tried it myself after my quick shower this afternoon, really cooling... so I used it again just now after my shower(been taking 2 showers a day lately, tsk tsk, no good no good... but weather's really tooo warm!), hehehe.

I had the mood to venture out with my car today and thought to 'jio' Li but she was busy packing her luggages, so I decided to bring Renee down instead, for a little cycling after her dinner(I've put some of my stuffs which are for my car at the back basket and she complained that it's heavy :} ). We finally got down to the playground at ard 6:30pm and this girl had a fun time cyling her tricyle lolz:

And when we got to the stretch of pebbles walk, I slipped outta of my sandals and seeing this, Renee wanted to do the same but lacked the guts to hahaha. So, what she did was telling me to go to the other side and try, see lah!:

When we got home an hour later, she asked "mommy, what can I do now?" and so we did this :

School suspension(voluntary) III

Good news! Called the school earlier and was informed that they've been trying to contact me since early morning, to bring on the good news - that they're agreeable to the school deferrment and will work out the sum of pro-rated fees on the un-used period, to be brought forward to the next term. As to my request on the ' back-date' matter, they will check with Mrs Jacob on when Renee began her absence(from the 2nd time onwards).

So, our dear princess will be enjoying an earlier and longer school holidays!

No naps, early nights? Dilemma, dilemma...

Our cleaner finished with her ironing alot alot earlier today and it was all thanks to the new iron we've bought! Well, at least it's money well-spent then :)
And after she's left, we quickly made our way to waterloo street to get some stuffs - just on time for one item though and we'll hv to try get the rest(e.g. "Hua Lu You" for renee's recovering rash) other day. Renee's heat rash seems to be recovering especially after her devoting daddy had the air-conditioner switched on last night. However, this princess is making a habit of requesting, or rather, demand!, for her back to be scratched. It was the same when we were on our way back after our dinner at Wisma Atria. I was soo tired of it and I told her after her shower that if she still makes this request, I'm gonna let her stay with the 'gar gar' uncle and she went :
Renee : "no... rub only can?"
Mommy : "No, if you still make noise about it, then I'll ask uncle gar gar to scratch for you"
Renee : "no, please no...ok, I scratch myself ok?"
hahahahaha.
And when I came out of my shower, there she was on the sofa, with her daddy dutifully scratching her back and her falling into dreamland...
We were about to carry her back to her bed when some teenagers were making a din at the playground. Being directly upstairs from it, daddy decided to close the windows to block the noise to indulge his princess a peaceful, undisturbed sleep but that resulted in the air-conditioner to be switched on again... though I'm quite against it, but it's been rather stuffy these 2 days(there's still some wind from the bedroom window, but we can't enjoy the breeze from the study nor the hall) and I must admit that I'm enjoying the cooling effect as well... Yeah, right, just after I've told my friend, Karen to try not to do that :P heeeee

This afternoon, our dear 'Man of the house' had a good rest - he napped on the sofa, then continued on our newly changed(sheets) bed when the cleaner needed to mop the floor. Renee joined him wherever he napped as I was busy with the washing, preparing the ingredients and cooking her dinner, so when he went to our bed, she happily went along with her winnie pooh bear + spongebob there n acted like a big 'jie jie' to the toys lolz.

She will scold the winnie pooh and tell 'pooh' that 'spongebob' is a good boy, u must listen to Zhou Lao Shi, Madam Sock Hui, etc, etc... That sentence somehow made me realised that, perhaps she misses school ... :( arrrghh, that also reminded me that I must remember to call the school tmrw morning to check on the outcome and hopefully they won't drag any further if no refund is to be made so we can make a decision soon. It's such a dilemma - to let her resume(if no refund's to be given) or to stop for the time being(seeing that she misses school and even replied 'yes' when I asked her).

For these 2 days, she's been skipping her nap and declined her afternoon milk feed. However, she will ask for her milk much later, near dinner time and I'm wondering if I should let her skip the former(not the milk feed of cos. I'll try to let her continue with all 3x milk feeds/day, for as long as possible) and have an early night instead. However, that would mean a bed-time at 9pm which is fine with me but will this work with her daddy, especially when we have gatherings/visitations/outings?...

Late morning, early night

Precious princess woke up late this morning - seeing that she's sleeping soundly and we're gonna have a 'long day' today, I thought it was better to let her continue with her 'cutey'(is 'beauty' an appropriate description for a young kid? doesn't sound right to me hee) sleep.

We were out since noon, had lunch with our guest, Hung SF at Ah Yat seafood restaurant @ Turf Club before returning home for our usual 'long chat'.
As we've only got home after 3pm and will finish by late evening, Eileen and family, whom were meeting him too, had to change their plan a little and we decided to go for our dinner together. We met up at a chinese food restaurant @ Hougang Mall. It was super packed by the time we arrived at the mall and long ques were already formed at almost every restaurants there. It's a good thing that Eileen has made a reservation earlier. After filling our tummies, we parted with Hung SF from there and headed home after getting our stationary.

On our way back, I suddenly remembered that our dear girl hasn't had her shower yet and it's already past 8pm! Quickly gave her a quick shower, minus the hair wash - good thing she's got short hair now else she'd be the sleeping princess with a stinky head at this very moment hahaha.

Having woke up later than usual and 'excited' with a visitor at home, our dear darling didn't want to continue her nap which she took in the car when we got home. So, whilst we were conversing with Hung SF, there she was singing, talking, requesting for her back to be scratched/to go pass urine, for milk bread etc etc and thus, she's already one shacked girl and fell asleep on the sofa after her milk. As usual, daddy DIDN'T notice and when I came out from the shower and told him so, he had to wake her up for her brush her teeth & pee, poor girl...
She was of cos crying when he woke her up and that, caused the rash to return and our doting daddy decided to switch the air-conditioner on. That did the trick though, 'cos she was back to dreamland almost immediately lolz.
*Oh I remembered something funny... whilst we were on our way to the mall for dinner, Renee suddenly turned to me and said "oh forget to drink milk!" hahaha. I've asked her in the afternoon but she declined, now she's still got the cheek to say 'forget' hahaha. This is the 2nd time she's told me this...

A scared sister...

The 3 of us went out early today as Daddy wanted me to 'learn' so as to 'take over' the role of fetching my sis, Eileen back from Kovan market when she helped us with our weekly marketing.

On our way to Eileen's place, Renee suddenly cried out, asking to go home. She's been having heat rashes on her body 2 days ago, and she's been complaining since, of itch whenever she's feeling warm. But it's been tolerable till today and that gave me/us a big shock. The car seat sure make her feel warm - I hope the new one would be less that. Good thing Eileen was beside her and gave her a little 'scratch' which calmed her down.
Though my sis might have had a 'scare' since I was the one behind the wheels today hahaha.

Li came over this afternoon(she must have heard from Eileen that Renee's lost weight) to pass me the carton of Carlbee's french fries I've asked her to order and of cos with the main purpose of seeing Renee lolz. She commented that Renee has indeed lost weight. With this in mind, I decided to find out how much - our digital scale indicated that she's lost abit of weight but her height has gone up a little :)

An overseas guest is here and we'll be meeting him tomorrow but I don't think I'll be the one driving :D *phew* hehe

A busy, tired but an ok day :)

Woke up at 6:20am this morning and hurriedly got myself ready to go over to my friend's. As I wasn't sure of the route to the place(though it's not too far, by car esp.), her niece came to fetch me over :D
Accustomed to the different families' customs or no-custom, for that matter, I wasn't surprised when there were some formalities not observed or 'changed', for ease of convenience over there and I just rendered whatever help I could after I've dolled her up.

Apart from the time spent on getting the bride into her waistnipper and the bridal gown, the 'change' of customary procedure further delayed the initial timing and by the time I was finally able to leave , it was already 8:45am. Daddy had to leave by 9:15am, so I had to rush back home. Even had to abandon my plan of getting Mcdonald's breakfast for daddy, some stuffs and collect the PD's letter from the clinic.
There was a buffet lunch at my friend's new home @AMK after their marriage solemnisation, but as Renee's not attending school today, I couldn't attend. So, after I've wished her the best and gave her a hug + a red packet, I almost dashed out of the flat hahaha.
I had to quicken my pace as it was about to rain when I was halfway through and by the time I slot my key to my home gate, it was raining and...my legs were ready to give way hahaha.

Daddy drove my car out and hoping to get a faster reply from the school, I called the clinic and requested for a fax copy of the PD's letter first. But even after I've faxed over the letter, I'm still to wait(don't know when) for the school's HQ to revert with their reply on the fees 'refund' and they can't tell me when I would get that. I guess it shouldn't be that difficult as we've no intention to withdraw from the school - merely a suspension, so just hope they'll revert really soon so we can decide if to resume soon or the next term.
There was a missed call from the school when I was driving in the afternoon and it was Mrs Jacob. She's already left when I returned the call and I guess she's probably calling to enquire on Renee's absence - am sure the administrator will update her tomorrow.
(On this matter, Eileen had suggested earlier, over the phone that perhaps we could try another branch as it might be that the current one is not 'suitable' for Renee? My nephew used to fall in and out of sickness within days, continuously for 9 months but miraculously stopped when my sis changed the pre-school, thus the suggestion. But I told her that it's still too early to tell since she's only started for 2 mths and there's this strong bug going on at the moment, so I'll have to wait till she resumes and monitor from there).

Daddy came home ard 11am and unable to resist the lethargy, I went to take a nap. Woke up 1/2 hour later and began to get myself ready whilst waiting for Renee's lunch to be cooked. We all had our lunch at Punggol Plaza as I went to get some groceries from NTUC. I drove hee...
Then it was further practice at the punggol area and more turning and parking practices at our multi-storey carpark(for me to brush up on my turning as daddy, like the instructor, noticed that I tend to slow down alot before a turn and they felt it's not necessary/a smooth drive with that).

My skincare order arrrived this noon, even though no record was shown when I checked on its status at Singpost's web. Good thing it arrived before we went out!

As the car was delivered with the fuel tank 1/4 filled and it's began to show 'low', dadddy wanted me to drive down to the kiosk so that I'll know how to go about it the next time. But due to the frantic fast walk this morning, my legs couldn't take the strain after the practices and I told him to take my car out hahaha.

With daddy feeling not entirely well and I've had a tired day, we ordered pizza for dinner :)

Arrival of mommy's car

The jeweller came this morning and amongst some of the stuffs she passed us, this is the pendant she's reset for me, with the 2 smaller diamonds extracted from my old pendant and wedding ring - total cost, after offsetting the gold from my ring/pendant, I only have to pay her S$110 for the workmanship :D

Yes, finally, I've got my car today!
As daddy told me this morning that the car will only be delivered to us this evening(daddy had requested delivery as I've not driven for a lonng time haha), I'd thought to go for a short nap when he called to tell me that the salesman is already on the way! However, thanks to that, I don't have to go collect the vehicle and get to sign the papers at the comfort of my home lolz.

Not too long after the salesperson's left, the repairmen came and after dabbling with our fridge for a while, they got our fridge repaired. Such repair is guaranteed for a short period of 3 mths but I hope it'll last much longer than that, heehee.

We went for a little drive after daddy had washed his car (Yes, HIS car hahaha, 'cos mine, just as what he's told me, had already been groomed, so I merely have to wipe off some water stains[splashed by the car washer, washing some cars next to it], put up the 2 'accessories' up and get myself familiarised with its features whilst waiting for him). When we were going home, our dear girl commented : "good driving, mommy" hahaha, as if she really knew.

My mobile rang when I was behind the wheels and the battery went flat thereafter. By the time I returned the call, the bride-to-be friend asked if it's ok for her not to come over as she's tired. Well, actually it's just as well, since there's nothing much left for us to discuss. Besides, it's too late already and even if given more time, she's not willing or too lazy as she claimed, to buy any other accessories or do what I've suggested earlier for a better overall look, so...
Oh yeah, u're now looking at the new outlook of our blog ^-^. What prompted me to change its look again? - It's my friend, Karen's blog! The change in her blog tempted me and so, whilst waiting at home in the afternoon and also to prevent myself from dozing off, I decided to give this blog another facelift :D

Update on the school suspension :
The school administrator phoned today and requested for our doctor's MC/certification to be submitted to their head quarters, for the 'refund'. I then asked if it wld be back-dated to just last wk's absence and she said, that will depend on how the doctor phrase it.
The PD finally returned my call in the late afternoon and she's agreed to help me prepare the letter by this evening but due to the 'rush', I've forgotten to ask her abt the flu and chicken pox jab again :(
We've yet to collect the letter as we rushed home for my friend. Guess I'll have to try and go over tomorrow morning after I'm done at my friend's.

Oops, I've yet to get the triangle signs! - good thing I'll not be driving but walking, over to my friend's tomorrow morning :D

School suspended(voluntary) II - undecided

Till now we've yet to finalise as to whether to confirm with the school suspension. Renee's temperature is now back to normal but what we're afraid of is that, like the week before - she went back to school for 7days and was unwell again. I've discussed this with daddy but having caught the cough bug, he's also down with fever today, so I'm unable to obtain any decision from him. Hope I could get some answers from him as we'll have to decide if to send Renee to school tomorrow or not.
However, I guess probably not, as it's gonna be a very busy day tomorrow -
1) Collecting car(hopefully they will deliver to our place) and I hope I'll be able to give it a good clean first - though daddy said I'm being silly as it'd be groomed before delivery.
2) We've contacted a repairman earlier and according to him, our fridge doesn't seem to be a major breakdown and his analysis, based on what we've described, is that we should be able to have it in full operative mode in less than an hour. So, since we're asking him to come have a look tomorrow, we're holding back on our order of the new fridge.
3) Jeweller's coming to pass us some of our stuffs first.
4) Repairer coming to check/repair our refrigerator
5) Practice my driving and parking, if possible.
6) Meet my gf to take a look at her hair accessories so we can confirm on the hairstyling for her wedding

School suspended(voluntary)

Renee is recovering but her temperature this morning was still at 37.5degrees which will not pass the precautionary gate check, thus she will be staying at home again. This is the 10th day of her being absent from school and that effectively means a wastage of S$250 altogether.
What's more important is that I'm not sure if she'll catch any more bugs if she resumes school the next few days(the current bug that's being spread around, according to many people including the docs, seems to be a strong one, even the adults are affected).

I phoned the school and spoke with the principal on this matter. She was very kind and understanding and even agreed that I could try letting her stay at home for the time being as their young bodies are usually still weak when they've just recovered from a sickness and it certainly doesn't help if the bug is still around. It is a good idea to wait a while. I've been told that this 'cycle' might re-suffice when Renee resumes school even after the break and when I shared this with her, she said that it's not really true as she's come across cases whereby the parents stopped/pulled the child out for a while and it did seem to work better as the child is stronger when he/she returns. With this remark, I'm further encouraged to go with the suspension.
She asked when we would like to resume and I thought, perhaps the next term(after the June sch holidays) might be a good idea. So, since she's also agreeable to that, she will get their accounts dept to work out the pro-rata fees and revert to me. I wonder if they will back-date till these last '5 days' Renee was absent from school?... I doubt but if they do, it'll be a bonus :)

Renee's temperature is now going down to almost normal and whilst waiting for them to revert to me on the figure, I'll still have to discuss with daddy further on whether we should stop her temporarily or continue from May onwards, since there is going to be a one mth break from school in June.

My conversation with Renee regarding this matter :

Mommy : "Renee, can we stop school?"
Renee : "ok..."
Mommy : "do u know why we have to stop you from school?"
Renee : "because I'm not feeling well"
Mommy : "we go back to school after the school holidays, ok?"
Renee : (not knowing that it's gonna be a while before that happens) "ok"
Mommy : "are you really ok with not going to school?"
Renee : *looking sad*
Mommy : "we'll go back to Mrs Jacob's class after the school holidays ok?"
Renee : *nodding her head, still looking sad*
Mommy : "but what will you do at home then?"
Renee : "I will play, play and play"
Mommy : *rolling eyes*
Mommy : "Oh, papa has bought mommy's car, how? what if papa scolds?"
Renee : *cheeky grin* "drive to gai gai!"
Mommy : .........

Our refrigerator down...

Just as I thought we're about done with the changing of items in our home, our refrigerator breaks down... Well, what can we say, having stayed in this home(our very first own home) for slightly over 6 years now, I guess it's time that some items begin to give way.

Some time ago, I've noticed some water vapours on the freezer door and I had wondered if it was due to my turning the temp to a higher level. It did seem ok after I've switched it to lower to suit the lesser quantity but yesterday, a few months later, I took the vegetables out and found that they've deteriorated(bought just 2days ago) and the fridge seemed to smell a little inside.
Today, I told daddy that perhaps our fridge is spoiling as its temp is not cold enough even after I've switched it to almost the highest level. We've thought about it and decided that it might not be worth the trouble to get a repairer, might end up paying for his transport and still have to buy a new one, so it's time to change...

We went down to compass pt after daddy came back at 7pm and after a quick dinner at Burger King, we went to Kiddy Palace - to look for some of the stuffs in my list and the alternative high back booster seat. Found one but not ideal, so decided to temporarily use the existing one first until we find the ideal one(waiting for Mothercare's reply anyway). Meantime, I managed to get these 2 :

'Pampered Princess On Board' sign, there's another one that says 'little princess' but it was in blue and daddy said this one looks nicer(pink) - or was it more like the title suit our Renee better? hahaha
'Dora' sun shades

We went over to Best Denki thereafter and found a replacement fridge but as we were already too late for their 'buy today, deliver today' policy and also that the schedule for the next day's already full, we were told to come back around noon later(as there are always cancellations everyday) and they'll try to slot ours in, for the evening. I really hope so, as our current might not hold much longer to keep whatever's inside edible!

We've also bought a new iron(finally...) 'cos our earlier cleaner had broke our 2nd iron! and a desktop fan.
The sales people in the respective departments were recommending us all the higher range of goods but this time round, all we're looking for are the average ones... Daddy was almost convinced to buy one of higher range of the Philips iron,*faint* but I managed to change his mind on time, I see no point as we won't be the ones who do the ironing mostly now and if this cleaner is going to spoil our iron, it'll sure be a heartache if we get a too ex one. Yet, with this, we still end up with one of the medium range - S$129(less 10%) for an iron :(

specifications can be found here(click onto the functions to read more of its features-'hidden' in the site) : http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/en/sg/consumer/cc/_productid_GC3360_02_SG_CONSUMER/Steam-iron+GC3360

New stroller

Finally, we've bought a new stroller - a Maclaren's. Though I'm sooo not a fan of Maclaren's prams(because of its belting system and also the no-bar protection), I'm ok with them for older toddlers/children.

Really like the super light weight of our current one(we were using a Peg Perego Pliiko pram/stroller when she's much younger) 'cos it's the lightest we can find so far(even lighter than the new one(which weighs at 4kgs) we've just got). This is the one, got it at an offer price of S$179 from Robinsons(Mothercare's selling it at S$234 - 30% now)-quite a good buy as its canopy is rather wide and it comes with a free rain shield, good thing I didn't buy one earlier:

This, is our beloved super light weight stroller(daddy cldn't bear to get rid of it, cos he finds it really light and he said to put it in his car as standby haha)
This is its very useful stopper/support which most strollers dun have

Artwork(s)

Hey Karen, these pics are for u! These are the artwork project books my sis bought for Renee last year's X'mas. Pretty interesting though the instructions are in chinese. The graphics are cute and its material's of good, thick quality.

These would give u a better idea of how the artworks(abt 2opcs) are like :

Mommy's getting her own car II

Last night, as daddy lay his supper on a piece of old newspaper(last Fri's) and he saw an ad he'd seen earlier, also on a Citroen C4. This is a 1yr old vehicle and at a price of a few thousand dollars more than the one we intended to buy, it is certainly a better buy, so daddy changed his mind.

As we all woke up early at before 8am this morning, and I needed to get some groceries + fruits from NTUC, I told daddy to drop me and Renee at Punggol Plaza before he went to pick Eileen up and bring back the foodstuffs she's helped us purchased from the market.

After our(more like just mine) breakfast, we went up to NTUC and Renee, picked these up for my and daddy's car. Isn't it sweet :) hehehe. Am sure most of you would have guessed correctly which one she's chosen for me and which for her daddy hahaha:

Just minutes ago, Renee asked me to help her phone her daddy and I took the opportunity to ask if he's gone to try out the vehicle - he said yes, bought and it's in a much better condition & also of a newer version with more features(and it's with leather seats), compared to the other one he'd almost got for me. Also, it's in a colour that I'd prefer to that of the other vehicle(metallic greyish black) - blue :)

Now it's back to being excited and anticipating with fear hahaha.

New undergarments

The current set of undies are getting tight for Renee at the thigh area and I've ordered this set(120cm) for her :

Unlike those normal girl's cut undies that I've got for her earlier, she only finds comfort in wearing the one which I've got from a Japan website. Thus, I've no choice but to keep ordering from them. These were what I've got for her so far, from the online merchant:
The very 1st set -95cm(erm, some look abit 'wide' at the leg opening, due to my alteration lolz)

2nd set-100cm(when I've given up altering the abv set and the 2nd set I've bought locally, though similar cut but they somehow don't fit as nicely-can be seen in earlier post)

The current set-110cm

Mommy's getting her own car soon!

Yes, daddy came home just now and told me that he's gone down to view the citroen c4 that I've told him about, today! The carseats would have to be changed to that of leather, and if so, that will delay collection til next week or so. Having test-drove the car, daddy commented that the feel of it was even better than his Audi A6, yeah! hahaha

This is a almost 3 yrs old car(still under agent's warranty) though daddy had wanted to get the new one for me but I felt that being an inexperienced driver, it'd be better for me to drive a used car, so at least I won't feel the heartache if I do scratch the vehicle kekeke.
Here's a pic of the car(extracted frm citroen website)

I'm now experiencing a mixture of emotions - excitement, anticipation, fear(of driving alone and most of all, parking!). Hmmm, that reminds me - better go get a pair of the 'Triangle' signs too - to ward off road bullies LOLz. Hey, it's no joke! And for the safety of our child, I rather bear with the 'embarassment' of putting that up than having these drivers being impatient/nasty with me, an inexperienced driver.

I've called up Mothercare yesterday but only to find out that this car seat(which converts to a booster) is now left with only 1 pc each at Centrepoint and KKH branches respectively. They have another version, also in pink but both Renee and myself prefer this, so hopefully we'll be able to find an alternative as nice :) :
