Time flies, realllllllly flies and today, we celebrated Rachel's 2nd birthday!
During the cake cutting session of her 1st birthday celebration, Rachel had behaved alittle shy/wary of the people/crowd, kind of resembled Renee(when she was younger) and thus, I had not expected her reaction today! Anticipating that she might not do as bidded, she surprised us by blowing off the candles willingly, and not just once, hahaha. I know, this is just a normal gesture to some, but with the idea that some coaxing would be needed, this unexpected reaction did appear cute-sy to us, :D. She was just sooo 'ok' with the whole thing and I wished we've had that moment recorded in motion video, arrrrghhhh... But, luckily, a quick browse through my camera, there are still some photos that my sister had captured, so I guess it's a *phew*(better than none right?), :D
With all the guests over at our place, the birthday girl must be sooo tired without her nap, 'cos after finishing up the bun her chehcheh gave her, she climbed onto my lap, snuggled close to me and fell asleep, almost immediately! hahaha. She even voiced out her displeasure when I told her that she needed to take her chinese medicine(to clear the remnants of her cold) and brush her teeth, hahaha. So papa said to let her be... :)
