Amazing!

Oh no, no, this is not a post to boost about our child but it's to help me record one of those moments/things she amazes us with!

Yesterday, whilst playing golf with her daddy at home, she came to me with her toy clubs which also came in 3, like a real set would, and told me how she's supposed to swing with each of it, especially the driver and the putter! I had earlier thought that perhaps daddy had taught her specifically on that but upon checking with him, it turned out that he had not! She must have either seen/observed how daddy did it(but he usually only uses one type at home leh...) or she has a natural gift for golf??? hahaha, hmmm, not too sure about that and not really going to bother. We're just glad that she's having fun with it now, :).

Earlier, daddy bought a pack of tees and after he's explained to her when she asked, a few days later, she made her own! Look at the blue coloured one? Daddy was elated when she showed him('cos she's never seen one being used yet), hahaha:

Artwork Display

Think it's about time for some photos and/or entertainment(I know Li will surely say, "ya lah" but *phew*, she's now holidaying in Shanghai, heee):

Just when we were about to complain about the creativity of the teacher(s), there my girl gets a hand-made windmill from them last Friday, hahaha :

Caught her coming out of the toilet(in group) on the day I had my camera on standby for the pyjamas activity. I tried to hide from her but she still caught sight of me heee:

Recently, she simply loooves to build/'create' things with these ermmm, not sure what its exact description but I named them 'building sticks'(so as to differentiate them from the building blocks) and yesterday, whilst Peixiang was talking to me, she suddenly came to me and said : "mommy, 'E...'" and I thought she was trying to count in mandarin, so I replied : "Er..." to continue for her. Then she said : "no, mommy, it's 'E' and "F', look" and upon looking at her 'creation', then I realised I've mistaken, hahaha:

A little 'Investigator'

Ha, this is what daddy called his little darling this morning. What happened was, she took out the princess colouring book which Elsie has got for her earlier and then she pointed to a 'darker' skinned princess and asked daddy for her name. Daddy of cos didn't know but judging from her skin tone, he told her it's 'Pocahontas'. She wasn't convinced and so daddy told her to come ask me... oh oh, I'm not sure either! Well, can't blame me right, since I'm not into the princess thingy, hahaha. Although I wasn't convinced myself, I too, told her that it's what daddy had mentioned but this little girl, not giving up, went to look for her little story books and took out the one titled 'Pocahontas' and showed to me. I looked at the book and hey, the 'princesses' do look different and I told daddy that Renee's right indeed. Then it dawned on me that the one she's enquiring about 'belongs' to the Aladdin story! So I told her to quickly get the book out so that we can find out her name lolz...

Daddy's got a housewarming to attend later this evening and I don't feel like going and asked him to go ahead himself. But he suggested that we stay at my mom's whilst he goes over and I go pick him up when he's done. The prob is, no one else is going to my mom's today! Aiya, I know his 'intention' lah... 'cos this client whose new home he's going to, 'belong' to the drinking group and he wanted me to go fetch him so that he can join them in the drinking session! lolz...

Oh, finally took out the X'mas present we've got for Renee last year hahaha(thought it's about time she has a new 'bigger' toy to play with now) and here's it :

'Drawing' by memory

Anyone whom has subscribed to SCV's kids channel would know what this drawing resembles. One day, I saw few sheets of drawing paper with this 'face' and I thought how come daddy also know about the very brief cartoon slot - 'Danny & Daddy'.
However it turned out that daddy didn't know about that show at all and it wasn't him who drew it... Conclusion : Renee had watched the show (I think the most 2-3Xs only & at very 'long interval' cos they don't come on that often) and drew them lolz :

Last night, she asked me again : "mommy, what can I do now..." but before I could answer, she replied herself : "Oh I know, I can draw draw" and these are the ones(the 1 on the right are balloons alright, but what are those on the left?):

*Bop Bop*

Arhhh, this is the sound Renee has been making with her hands whenever she washes her hands since a few weeks ago! Recently, I asked her on how did she come about doing it and who taught her to and she told me nobody did and she just do what the squeaky ducky does(those rubber ducks that''ll squeak when u squeeze them). It's just so amazing how kids can think of doing such stuffs on their own(does all do that?)...

Oh ya, finally went for my first facial with Leonard Drake today and compared to Elements Spa @ Orchard hotel, I would say that they're better equipped, offered extras(e.g. hand messages...) and so far, no hard-selling nor did I feel any as yet... It was a free treat cos the first visit comes FOC with the package, yeah! I shan't go into today's facial procedure here in case some people might feel too tempted with its pampering hahah, but just email me if anyone is keen to know :)

Hmmm, Renee's school is pretty informative! On Monday, I found another note in the book again - informing parents of about this Fri, a public holiday :)

Her 'creations'

Some of you have been asking me what does Renee do when she's at home. Ok, when I'm not free to play with her, besides her 'imaginary' plays, here's what she'll normally do when playing on her own at home - she'll 'create' toys/stuffs to play:

Her very own self created bubbles making set! hahaha
The 'hook' was taken off from her kitchen set, the green 'cup' taken off from her music/shape cooking pot and the 'O' from her alphabet board(which she doesnt really play with)

This is her 'missymouse(M from zoophonics) in a cage) lolz

She always love to look at the animals in the pet shop @ centrepoint-near the carpark. It's been quite a while since we last went there and couple of weeks ago, we went to Robinsons and before we even reached the auto 'exit' door, she quickly told us she wanna see 'rabbit', oh she remembered! hahaha, kids can really remember things - probably becos they dun hv as much 'things' in their mind yet. And few days ago, she searched into her toy box(more willing to do so now as it's no longer as fully packed since I took out alot out for donation recently) and she found this mouse, so there, here comes this 'creation' hahaha. Oh, I've asked her what are the two 'stacks'(books on top of shape cups and she told me they're 'music' - referring to music player. How do they come into this caged animal picture, I honestly have no clue man, I guess only this mischievous girl knows what her creation is abt :)

Good imagination!

Oh, almost forgot about this! The next day after her very 1st playgroup session, she was playing by herself at home and suddenly came to tell me that this particular piece of dough(after cutting out the shapes she wanted with the moulds) is a 'boat'! Good imagination huh? :P
