Precious looking for papa...

Renee's 'happiness' was short-lived when daddy came home early just now 'cos he had to leave home again, almost immediately(got a last minute call that the client 's in town again). It wasn't that bad at that moment 'cos she's got her tv programmes to watch but the idea of papa not being around finally set in when I went in for my shower at 9pm(hurriedly stopped my alteration of the new curtains, as there won't be any progs that she'd go for after that slot). She came to the toilet door saying that she couldn't find her bolster...

After milk, she asked for her papa when I told her that she'd have to go to bed soon and cried when she learnt that he won't be back anytime soon and I can't let her sleep on the sofa('cos I won't be able to carry her to the bed as my back hurt after working on the curtains). On her request, I dialled for daddy's mobile but she turned 'obedient' when he came on line, yet cried after they hung up, aiyoh! A total of 3 phone calls, and daddy finally heard her 'cry' and when I took over the phone, he asked why I kept helping her to phone him. Told him what *happened before passing the phone back to her, for him to console her abit more...

Now, *what happened was, after the 2nd phone call to papa, I had thought that she'd gone to the study/play room to take some toys but I heard sobbing and I found her looking at the photos on the top rack(one of me and daddy) and said amidst her sobs : "your photo...papa there... I want papa to come back now *sob sob*" with big teardrops rolling down her cheeks, awwww....so the 3rd phone call lah! Told her this time she must let papa know that she cried and she finally did, hahaha. Even when she's done with the 'final' phone call, she muttered : "papa..." softly, when she's hung up the line, aiyoh, buay tahan!

Then, she asked for her milk bread and I took the opportunity to get her to agree to sleeping on her bed by herself if I give her a slice and she said ok and even demonstrated hahaha. True to her words, she's now in the room(door closed, with the air-conditioner on - as requested by her) but I'm on my standby mode hahaha, and crossing my finger :D.
