A playdate

Yeah, today marks the beginning of the 3rd term school holidays, Hurray!
Met Karen and her girls at Mcdonald's as I was hungry, heee and they came over to our place(hoo, finally, we've been postponing, due to our kid(s) coughing in turn) after our 'snacking'.
The moment our girls 'finally' met, Renee was still a little shy at first but with Emma being so friendly, Renee was soon chatting away with her(she was also ok when I left her with them to get the food) and even held her hands when we were leaving the place.
I rushed off to get my snack and by the time I returned to the table, Renee was already talking and wasting away the stickers from the Dora book that they've given to her lolz(it so happened that she's got one of the same and she even told them lolz). Thanks for the book, Karen :)
Emma is sweet and she really made my day - what with greeting me sooo nicely at first sight, then commenting that my car is nice and that our home is nice... Isn't she sweet or what? hahaha. Well, not that I like sweet talking nor was she at it(she's too young to do that) but those comments coming from a child, it certainly sweetens your heart... :)
Ethel, unlike the first time I saw her, she had just awoken from her nap then and didn't 'want' me. Today, she was sooo adorable and those times she tried to manja her 'punishments' away when her mommy chided her was simply 'cute' to watch :). Really felt like squeezing her but too bad, I was having irritant cough so I tried to stay away from her...
At our place, the girls had a nice time and not restricting themselves to only the study/play room, they moved to the bedroom and then the hall hahaha. It's endearing to watch 3 girls having a good time together :)

A nice gathering and Renee must have enjoyed herself that she invited them to come again :D

Before we headed home, I had gone to get the Precious Moment's cup that Renee had wanted(her current 'Dora' tumbler's damaged due to it being dropped a few times - the hook chipped off, so can't hook on the sling anymore). However, only got to test its 'leakage' level when home and found that although its lid is tight, the 'straw'(can also drink direct, which Renee's doing now when she uses it) opening leaks if it's not placed upright. Can't let her bring this to school in this case...
