Just heard about the vulnerability of the USA economy/market whilst watching the 'debate on bailout package' on the Bloomberg channel and this morning, we saw on tv about the FBI investigating on allegations of fraud in some USA companies... oh geez, what's next?!
A phone call from one of daddy's many life insurance agent friends this morning(chasing him to decide on buying yet another policy) gave me an opportunity to bug him to look into our all insurance coverages... How can I make him understand the coverages provided in the policies we've bought? I guess many wouldn't either, haiz...that's the result of us not looking/listening properly to what the policy(ies) would provide and the situation of many non properly 'equipped' agents certainly worsened the matter(especially when they're people whom we know personally...agree, agree? :>). Good thing our government has taken steps to minimise this problem and set sticter rules for people intending to become insurance agents. However, I still hope that the life assurance agents do not try to sell general insurance as the latter, unknown to many, is usually more complicated.
Had told daddy to try not make any appointment and come home early today, so we can go through them properly, once and for all - well, at least I managed to get him to phone one of his agents just now to get some quotes and queries anwered. Hope 'we' could settle this matter the soonest(it's giving me headache hahaha).
