More Readers

Bringing 2 story books home every week is part of Lorna Whiston's English programme and the books, being selected by the school/teachers are deemed to be age/level appropriate(I once heard from a school teaching phonics that, if a child is unable to read >than more words in a page/book, then the book is not appropriate for him/her - If I rem correctly, heee). Here're this week's(last week's are 'rainy days' & 'the little dragon').

The books taken by each child, will be recorded in their own book

I'm surprised(though not unpleasant) that the children were asked to read the books they've borrowed, in the class. And I'm even more surprised when I read the teacher's comments, lolz

However, although the books are really easy to read for Renee, I find that they're kinda too simple.....
