The Underwater World & The Dolphin Lagoon

As it's a school holiday(in lieu of the youth day) today, we promised Renee another 'family breakfast' and when she woke up with worsened phlegmy cough, hubby decided to bring her to the physician. Thus, we headed to the Mcdonald @ AMK park since it's nearer to the physician's - the branch where Renee had her very 1st taste of their hotcakes but had a mild allergy reaction.

Before we left home, hubby asked if our Zoo Friends' membership's still valid(ya, we always renewed but dun utilise it, and then whenever it's expired, he felt like going! - not the 1st time...) and so I suggested that we could perhaps bring her to Sentosa since she's not been to the Underwater World yet.

We all had a quick nap when we got home and after our home-cooked lunch whilst watching the recorded Mr Bean movie, we headed out. Having left home late, the weather was cool when we got there, :).

By the time we got our tickets, it was already time for the Seals' performance and though we get to watch outside, we didn't see much. We then headed back to the Underworld and as the next/last show was the Dolphins' and since Renee's never watched any dolphins' performances, we tried not to miss this(just nice, at 5:45pm) but Renee didn't want to get out of there even after we've promised that we'd go back in again, lolz.

The dolphin show was however, a let-down, well at least to us(we're not sure how others would rate it), apparently due to the lack of training(?), there wasn't much 'performances'(oh dear, even Renee wasn't impressed...) as compared to the one we saw at the HK Ocean Park and that was years ago. In fact, I would think that the show put up by our Zoo's seals had been alot better! One could almost see the disappointment written on the tourists' faces. Personally, I would think it's quite alright to give it a miss, especially if one's tight on time...

Hubby's been to both Casinos a few times, with his clients, but this is his first, wandering around with us and Renee, remembering the rotating globe that emits mist, excitedly led him there, :) :

As we strolled around RWS and walked past the Universal Studio, hubby remarked to Renee "this is like a holiday trip right?" and our grinning girl happily agreed(though she'd feel even more like it if we'd booked a hotel room stay there, lolz)
