She couldn't wait to get changed into her uniform this morning and although she hesitated for that mere second, she willingly allowed the administrator to lead her to the classroom after the temperature check.
Back home, I was getting ready to go out again when daddy asked about the timing of her class - geez, it was only a break of 2 months and he's forgotten that she's attending a 3-hour session(he had thought it was only 2 hours hahaha).
After a short rest at home, I went to pick her up but as the traffic wasn't as heavy as earlier, I arrived at the school earlier and Mrs Magdalene Teo, the Principal upon seeing me, commented that Renee looks better and is taller now. She then took me to the class to show me the new teacher... Hmmm, I'm not very impressed but looks can be deceiving, so I must give her a chance :D
They have taken in more students and there are now 18 students(the max, as per MOE/ MCYS ruling I guess) in her class! Good thing they've 3 adults in each Pre-N session/class.
I took the opportunity and asked the Principal if Mrs Jacob's resignation was due to her needing to look after her children but was told that her father was the reason. I related to her about Renee's disappoinment when she learnt that she won't be seeing Mrs Jacob when she resumes her classes and Mrs Teo said that the other kids would also occasionally asked for her too... For added info, I also enquired if there'd be any chance that Mrs Jacob will come back to teach and if she could teach other levels as well('cos to be honest, I kinda like her too) but the Principal said that she's only qualified for Pre-N(as per MOE's ruling), so I guess it'd be 'pointless' for us even if she does come back in the future :(
For lunch, Renee told me that she tried new food and liked it - kuey tiao, orange colour, geez, what kinda kuey tiao is that? lolz
Zhou laoshi has given Renee a pc of marshmallow of which Renee asked for permission(in the car) to eat at home. I had thought that she's willing to eat it now('cos she didn't want to eat them when her daddy bought a big pack for her dur the CNY) but when I unwrapped it for her consumption after her milk and milk bread, she didn't want it after a small bite hahaha.
Geez, the weather is really hot man! I was secretly glad that I'm finally driving Renee home else we'll both be burnt out under this high temperature.
