Earlier this month, Ms Mok had finally went to collect the violins she's purchased on students' behalf. Unfortunately ours was shipped the wrong piece and according to Ms Mok, Renee's recent 'hitting' onto other string when she plays, is due to her violin being small for her. We've thought to get one locally instead but she said that she'd be going there in a few weeks' time and told us to wait.. Since July, she's withheld from teaching Renee to play the 'fourth' finger notes as she'd prefer her to start on the new violin since there'd be alot of adjusting when she uses it. So, meantime, I guess we have to endure listening to that occasional 'other string' sounds whilst she practices(she's also trying her best to avoid that, :D) and try to get her to stretch her fingers further to prepare her for the bigger violin...

This violin is not too small, wat. ;D It's in fact too big. Her elbow doesn't even make a nice angle yet.
