I've heard of this group of animated characters and have seen their slots on tv before but I've never let Renee watch them. When she's older, she might, under peers' influence, request to watch them but for now, I'll try to deter it, heee.
When we passed the castle stage, Renee immediately indicated that she wanted to watch the performance. However, both hubby and I were very hungry so we told her that we got to have our dinner first. Then, when I stopped by the same area later to purchase some stuffs, hubby suddenly turned to tell me that he's bringing Renee to join the que! I was very surprised, but nevertheless, secretly pleased in a way, :) 'cos he's never been one who's keen on such 'activities', but for his girl, he suggested it(he wld never hv done this when she was younger). After I've paid up, I went to join them in the 'enclosed' audience area(though the staff wasn't quite willing to let me in til they saw hubby and Renee waving at me, heee).
As usual, the show always began with a host entertaining/warming up the crowd and when the performance finally began, hubby agreed that I've made a right choice by not letting her watch their shows(what with 'boyfriends', fashion, etc...), hahaha but there were soooo many young kids there whom could easily named all the characters and stuffs!
Then out came the baddies and on the audience floor, they were so close-up and I saw hubby laughing at Renee. Why? - he said she was looking on fearfully with an open mouth, :D. Later when back home, she looked at my mascara-ed lashes and asked me to remove it - she felt it looked like the baddies' and she's afraid. I guess I needed fake ones or many more times layers of mascara to have that dramatic look, hahaha
Not knowing the moves and shy abt dancing in the public, this is her 'subtle' dance(shld see her dance at home man! aiyoh), hahaha
