Various Accompaniment

I've chanced upon some accompaniment pieces online recently and on Sunday, I thought Renee could try synchronise playing with them for fun. She did enjoy some of them, :).

However, for the piece 'Song of the Wind', since she's been corrected by her violin teacher to play it a little slower than initially, it took her a little effort to try and 'catch up' on some parts with the accompaniment now but I didn't correct her, just leave this song out. This is she had been instructed not to play as fast as the CD that came with the Suzuki Volumn 1. And the instructress' reason is that, it is very important for beginners to stabilise the bowing direction and this can be deterred if they begin by playing too fast all the time.
When I first heard this, I had worried that she might get too used to it and can't catch up should she really play with an accompaniment on her exam day. The answer = the accompaniment is supposed to be playing along with her and not otherwise. So with that advice, I didn't bother to re-correct her. Anyway, the teacher knows better, :).

There was an earlier recording on this(which she had played better than in this), but she
grinned at the camera at the end of it, so she re-do this piece again today

this is is not expensive and I'm still not sure how much will the new one which I've requested the teacher to buy on our behalf would cost. But we've discussed over it and agreed that there's no need to buy an expensive one now, so I hope she could get a relatively good one at not too high cost, heee.

Hey, me too, I'm not musically trained at all! So, basically, I'm learning together with her so as to guide/coach her at home(tough work rite, lolz).

What do u mean by the 'normal' one? Are u referring to the 'theme'? Actually, personally I like the first variation(A), I find it nice on the violin, :P.
