School View

As usual, Janice, the mommy of Jerome, was late and I had to wait a while for her after getting Renee into the class :).

When she finally arrived, we headed off to view the school which another mommy has gone for - Catholic Kindergarten, but although they have a pretty good playgroud space, we both found the premise very run down. However, a new building(construction in progress) was noted but the mommy told us that the school had insisted that they will not move over, huh??? Anyway, both of us have no intention to join the school, so it doesn't really bother us that much :D

The 2nd school Jancie brought me to was Pat's Schoolhouse. This is one of the schools listed on my agenda when I first did my preschool search but as I wasn't driving then(anyway, it'll be chaotic if one drives there, alot worser than Kinderland's) and I've heard from a SK mommy that the one near us, at Lim Ah Pin Road(somewhere behind Kovan Melody) is very run-down and I gave up the idea then. I mean, what's the point of paying S$800+ a month and yet send your child to a run-down school, no matter how good their curriculum is? We've drove past the branch at Claymore last Sunday and it had looked alot better but then again, it's not exactly near..... After our brunch, Janice suggested going to another establishment but it being a child care centre, I told her no need hahaha.

Anyway, we're both just having itchy backsides and needed to have it scratched by viewing some schools hahaha. So for those whom are concerned about Renee's 'happiness', not to worry, we are most likely not to be changing her school now(unless I could find a good alternative soon) as many factors need to be considered.
