Soo sleepy, had wanted to catch a 1-hr nap but it's something quite impossible with Renee playing on the bed and her constant requests for this and that. Good thing she's already 'allowed' me a good 15mins nap before she began...Unable to resume my sleep, I decided to start cooking the soup.
Our home is stuffy now, with 90% of our windows closed. The washing has now progressed to the side where our study room is. Earlier, we were watching SCV cartoon when they started 'splash-washing' the outside walls of where our living hall is. When Renee saw the workers, she said "hello" and waved at them. However, they didn't respond as they couldn't hear her(and their eyes were 'squinted', probably due to the water splash), so she knocked on the window to get their attention, before waving at them again. They of cos, smiled at her :)
Last night, Renee again cried at bedtime, wanting me to stay with her, arrrggghhh and this time round, she complained about the mosquito net(which she used to find 'princessy' and liked the little 'hearts' on it) and even agreed to my taking it off(totally) today. So, holding her true to her words, I took it off totally, including its holder and gave the net a wash after soaking it for a while. It was also last night when I first realised that the weight of the holder-stand is taking its the toll on the bed frame - the panel which we've fixed it on, was abit slanted, so it might as well be a good time to take it off. And I've fixed/tightened the screws to straight it again(it seems like I'm the handyman alot these days, not daddy...)
I've called Kinderland up this morning and asked them to hold on to our cheque if they've received it(for re-issuance of another chq with the pro-rated amt) for the next term, as we may have to start her a week later. However, the administrator told me that the one week is not refunded/pro-ratable as there's been continuity of school. This, I must admit, really confused me hahaha and I thought maybe I should just wait for her to check with the Principal and revert to me.
However, still feeling uneasy about it and with Renee napping away, I decided to phone the school up again minutes ago and this time, the Principal picked up the phone(like I've hoped :>). She's clarified that the fees will be pro-rated if we wish to let her resume at a later date. I guess the administrator probably might have misunderstood my query and had misinterpreted that I'm asking her again, to provide refund on the first 1 wk of Renee's absence during the last term hahaha. Well, the Principal will speak to her on this and she's to revert to me on the pro-rated amount and I should be able to tell by then if she's really mistaken :)
I'm now waiting for daddy to come back from yet another golf game(yes, again) and hopefully I would be able to get some more 'confirmed information' about the coming batam golf trip so that we can decide on the arrangement(since I'm the one who has to do that).
