The weekend

Met up with Eileen yesterday at her friend's place to take a look at/test out the water filters which her friend's distributing. Ermmm, both daddy and I couldn't really taste the difference of the water hehehe, probably we aren't great water drinkers to begin with(but I like its microscopic ultra filtration filter of 0.01 micron and most importantly, its removal of chlorine). However, both of us felt the difference in water filtered via the spa softener(for bath/shower). The water felt sooo soft and I can't help but noticed the difference on how the skin on my left hand(that's touched the spa water)felt, compared to my right hand.

We(or rather me hehehe) are looking at these filter systems:

1) The kitchen counter top Hot & Cold water dispenser - I've heard that so far, this is the only brand that's got this(not sure but perhaps there may be others soon, 'cos its convenience is sure appealing) and I like it 'cos it'll diminish the hassle of having to boil hot water in a kettle/jar and pour them into a flask(I'll seriously appreciate this when we come back from late and I've tons of things to 'attack') and the voltage is lower than the normal electrical flask dispenser. Another good news we were told yesterday is that she has just recently brought in a model that does not require a 'storage tank' within the dispenser(but will cost more though), but I like it already! 'Cos that will better ensure fresher clean water(especially when one/family has to go overseas) and the best part is we don't have to fill it up ourselves like the normal ones and I don't have to worry about whether to clean up its tanks(even though they're using high grade stainless steel, to prevent contamination).

2) The Water Softener(with the filter system)- good for skin

3) The Shower Filter

4) The 'Electronic Bidet' - the butt washer/dryer hahaha but was told that it might be a bit too bulky for HDB flats' non-concealed toilet bowls... Saw the manual one but find it redundant since we've already have hoses fixed up - but it'll be good if our toilet bowls are lower and Renee is able to go on it on her own, then she could use the manual wash to wash herself lolz.

However, as all our pipes are fully concealed, we're all not sure if it is possible for us to have these set up at our premise, thus we've arranged for them to come to our flat for a check tomorrow evening. To save time, I've also requested her to check her office/warehouse on the availability of what we would like(we have decided on items 1[the one w/out storage tank]and 2 listed above) and bring them along when they come over so that they could also have them fixed up if ok to. Hope she'll give us a good discount hehehe :)
It was already half past 5pm when we left her place and partly feeling lazy, we decided to just pop over to Hougang mall for a quick dinner. Elsie & Li came over there after and Renee's very happy that her aunty Elsie has got her 2 sticker + colouring books - Dora's & the Prinesses'. She's 'done' with all the stickers by this morning btw... Must get her another proper sticker book and get her to stick all her stickers there, and not on the books! On top of what she's got from Elsie and the small note book she made me buy for her on Friday, she also made Elsie gave up her new note book last night hahaha.

Today, as I was about to shower her, I suddenly recalled the photos we saw last evening, of her in her longer, curly hair and being one who likes to see 'changes', I decided to give her a trim - not the length 'cos it's still short but to sharpen the edges :) I hope I've done enough to make a difference(though it may not show very obviously now, but it may when it grows longer. Nvm, shall see if it needs any further trimming by then :D).
