Party Invitation!

Last week, Renee's been invited to her 'good buddy' - Jeannieve's birthday party next month and after consulting her daddy(cos it's to be held at the west side of the island) and not sure abt our travelling schedule next month, he said "sure gotta let her go, jeannieve is her good friend wat". So, upon this comment, I've replied YES to the mommy liao and Renee is now just waiting to go to the party, hee hee, so am I! Why do I look forward? Mainly becos Renee likes Jeannieve and also, the invite says there's Magic Show! - This will be the first time we watch a magic show live! :D

sorry, gotta shrink the invite this small, cos the little girl's pics are there(hv to protect the girl also mah :>) Jeannieve is a cute girl who has got an infectious smile too and she's friendly - maybe that's why she and Renee can click so well, even at their first meeting! Even my sis whom has seen some of my friends' children, commented that she's cute too :)

Finally, the audio recordings of her singing!

I gave up!
I was hoping to find an easier way to upload the mobile phone's audio recordings of her speeches and singing and had waited for some kind souls to tell me how, but... till date, none achieved hahaha.

However, not to fear - I've found a way! Hurray! Here's presenting..... :

This is one of the 'opening' songs during her playgroup sessions(but she's 'altered' it by adding to the ending, with something she's picked up from the Hi5 shows)-she deliberately 'slang' the word 'afternoon', see how mischievious she is! hahaha
'Good Afternoon'
'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'
Geez, I didn't know that it'd take sooooo long to upload these! So folks, that's all for now but stay tuned for more ya! :)

This rabbit is made out of cooked rice, raisins, marshmallow and carrotsI simply love the end product of this artwork!
The kids were asked to brush on the various paint colours on one half side of their paper and when the paints are mixed, they were to 'slap' the 2 sides of the paper together to 'produce' the effect. N Renee's turned out to be so much like a butterfly and everyone was amazed lolz

Her daddy called this 'sensibility'...

Lately, she loves to play this bedtime game with me when I tuck her to bed - She'll kiss me, then say 'one more time' to kiss me again and, after repeating this a few times, she'll deliberately fall unto her pillow and laugh heartily(without bestowing me with the 'last' kiss). She'll insist on a few rounds(at least 3) of this game before she'd allow me to leave the room. This has been going on for many nights now...

Today, I told her that mommy and daddy will be going on a business trip again soon and she even replied, happily, that she'll be going to aunty poh choo's house. But, from what she just did, I guess she must have 'felt sad' or 'missed us' already 'cos tonight, as we were playing this simple yet loving bedtime game , there was a sudden display of emotions from her - On the 2nd round of the game, instead of the usual kissing action, she changed it to 'moving backwards' away from me. Seeing her moving away, I pretended to be sad and suddenly she stopped her game and said "'I don't want already" and abruptly lied down. She pouted and tears began to roll down her cheeks..... I was shocked cos when I brought her to meet her aunty Lili earlier(so I can have my haircut and buy some reading books for her), she was still very happy. I quickly hugged her and asked her what's wrong and she replied "because mommy is sad"... Oh dear, I was sooooo touched but am glad in a way, to know that she still loves her mommy :*)

However, being an ever cheerful girl, it just took a few teases from me to get her laughing away again : >

Diaper Bag?

Someone used to ask me what kinda bag I carry after I've had Renee, here they are :
My very first diaper bag - a lovely gift given by a close friend whom had gotten it from Bangkok Besides the side and front pockets, the best part of the bag is that it unfolds into a 'changing pad' - softly padded, so perfect for infants :) Much earlier, we thought of bringing Renee on a trip and so, I went to get this bag from a forum bulk purchase. But dunno why, the logo started to come off just after 2nd day of 'brief' usage! I was asked to return it and after much hassle, got a full refund, haiz:And after Renee has been toilet-trained, I no longer have to bring so much stuffs like disposable diapers and etc), I got myself this, when the first one(abv-ladybug) became 'abit too big' However, the abv carter's bag didn't last very well and I've to get another. I couldn't find another nice one in time, so just make do with this one(comes with a pink foldable changing mat-but not of use at all now)
However, it seems like I don't have much luck with the diaper bags I've bought. They all conked out on me after a few washes! Funny how the very first one given to me(the ladybug one) can be sooooo well/long lasting despite that it's gone thru more washes than any of them! Given up, and thinking that I no longer need an Actual Diaper Bag, I took up the courage to reserve one bag I saw from the magazine today. But when I got there(and met up with my gf there), was told that the bag looks too big on me, haiz... so I've gotta search around the shop for another and ended up with this, nice? hehehe :

French Loaf?

Not too long ago, we went to our favourite restaurant Tony Romas and Renee, half way thru her bowl of porridge, saw her daddy spreading butter/garlic to the french loaf served(whilst waiting for our food order) and wanted to eat the bread instead.
We let her eat it with the garlic spread and surprisingly, she liked it! lolz... So far she's been ok with bread and had 'agreed' with quite a few different types of bread, so perhaps that's why she's more receptive even though it has garlic spread on it.

We had an overseas guest over today and for a change, we decided to bring our guest to Tony Romas for dinner(as we always bring him to the usual Chinese/Indo/Indian restaurants). To save time/avoid hassle, I didn't cook her dinner and guess wat? - she had a good time enjoying her garlic spread bread lolz.
